I am beginning to lose any kind of sympathy or any support for the Conservative council. Having written a large amount of emails and letters to the cabinet members and Kay Cutts (leader) to protest against the proposed closure of my sons school Gedling comprehensive and receiving no response from them at all, can you blame people for taking more drastic measures if they haven’t got the common decency to reply or discuss?
Exactly Conor, for all the “dignity” that a march has, people affected simply have to make their voices heard. Even if the only response is one in the papers condemning actions, at least they are no longer able to bury their heads in the sand and deny us our voice. If they don’t respond when things are done quietly and peacefully, then it is inevitable what people will turn to.
The papers may condem but the people are aware. keep it up.
